Three CMS Two Members win Avery Fisher Career Grants

CMS Two members Gilles Vonsattel, Jose Franch-Ballester, and the Jupiter Quartet were awarded with Avery Fisher Career Grants for 2008. Each will receive $25,000 to assist in their professional development. Congratulations to all!

A part of the Avery Fisher Artist Program (named for its benefactor), the grants, for instrumentalists only, have been awarded annually since 1976 to artists such as Jonathan Biss, Hilary Hahn and the Miró Quartet. A total of 109 grants have been made, and up to five are awarded per year.
