String quartets continue to be among our most popular concerts. This season we are including five in our series. The Shanghai Quartet will lead off in September, followed by the young Jasper Quartet, a newcomer to our series. The renowned Pacifica Quartet will present an all-Beethoven program. In the spring the Daedalus Quartet will be joined by cellist Edward Arron for the Schubert String Quintet. Finally, the Voxare Quartet, also new to our series, will present an all-American program. Violinist Tim Fain will return in November. In March pianist Pedja Muzijevic returns with the Wind Soloists of New York. Our series closes in May, when we welcome back Gilles Vonsattel as part of the Huang-Arron-Vonsattel Piano Trio.

All concerts are Sundays at 4:00 at the Howland Cultural Center.
