String quartets have been so popular with our audiences that this season we are bringing five to our series, two of them with an added musician to perform a quintet. The Brentano, Alexander, and Jupiter Quartets will return to the Howland Center. The Alexander will be joined by pianist Joyce Yang to perform the Dvorak Quintet, while Jose Franch-Ballester and the Jupiter will play the Mozart Clarinet Quintet. New to our series are the young Harlem and Enso Quartets. Rounding out the season are the Boston Piano Trio, the cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan and the flute and harp duo of Claire Chase and Bridget Kibbey. The concerts are well-spaced throughout the season, beginning September 12 and concluding May 15, with a winter break for the Piano Festival..

All concerts are Sundays at 4:00 and all but the holiday concert are at the Howland Cultural Center.
